Portrait illustration: Scarlet
Based on my studies on Colours, especially after reading the book "The Designer's Dictionary of Color" by Sean Adams, I decided to explore the concepts and characteristics of each colour and illustrate a portrait in which the colour palette is composed mainly of the entitled colour
Goal: to explore the characteristics of the colour and play with the idea and feel it gives.
To break the monotony I chose one complementary colour (or close related), part of my choice of style
Colour Characteristics:
It’s dangerous. It’s a deeper and more intense colour than primary red. It communicates danger, passion, seduction and power. It grabs attention and demands respect
Other Names: brick, burgundy, caliente, dark red, flaming red
