Watercolour Painting Composition
Mixed Media Narrative illustration using ink, watercolour and digital touches in Photoshop.
I initiated this series with the first composition being Scared, them ink and watercolour painting.
This is the last painting of the narrative series, but its best place is in between.
Ink and watercolour Narrative Illustration depicting a scene where the same two human-being characters are now interacting with the living tree, showing parts of the environment from a different angle. Part of my compositional ideas comes from imagination and memories of previous practices.
The goal is to depict a fantasy visual storytelling that can be used to compose an illustrated book or as a standalone picture, such as in frames, for puzzle or card games, to name a few options
This composition was initially made as a painting with a framed picture in mind. However, I wanted to test some other options this time and the possibilities to see the composition in different products.
This can be a postcard or greeting card, and it can also be a jigsaw puzzle game.
